Experience and Expertise
I became a therapist because I felt called to help others -- specifically those affected by the foster care system. Though, during my time working at a local hospital and senior center, I saw that mental health needs extended far beyond our youth. After working with the geriatric population for two years, I followed through on my calling and began working with foster youth and teens in need of mental health services. I worked as an Intensive Services Foster Care therapist for two years in which I became certified in TF-CBT, MAP, Nurturing Parenting Program and Motivational Interviewing. These skills led me to specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and ADHD.

I've learned that these problems affect people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. My hope is to help others find healing, peace and fulfillment.
